Join us for the annual Frenchtown Rendezvous! This year's event includes a hands-on family history workshop from 2-3 pm, in which we will learn about working with church and census records. Silent auctions and history displays will be available all afternoon, as well as cookies and coffee. At 4 pm, Jessie and Nicki Day-Lucore and Sarah Hurlburt will give a presentation about the Frenchtown cemetery restoration and interpretive plan, including research into the relationship between French and Catholic missionaries in the valley, the 1878 diphtheria epidemic, and what cemeteries can tell us about the mobility of the French-Canadian and métis communities of the Pacific Northwest.

2:00-3:00 pm: Adventures in Creative Spelling: Working With Frontier Records

2:00-4:00 pm: Silent auction, historical displays, coffee,

cookies, and conversation

4:00 pm: "Buried Lives–the St Rose of Lima Cemetery," a presentation by Jessie and Nicki Day-Lucore and Sarah Hurlburt

5:00 pm: Tri-tip Dinner catered by Marty Bray
